The Irish Trilogy of Seek the Fair Land, The Scorching Wind, and The Silent People may be my favorite books. Not just of Walter Macken's, but my all time favorites. I've lost track of the number of times I have read them. These books inspired my first trip to /5.

Cromwell's murderous campaign in Ireland and the fate of the dispossessed are the themes in this novel, Well worth a read. It is good to read the books in order "Seek the Fair Land", The Silent People and finally " The Scorching Wind".
